"Story of Started Studio Interior Renovation Part 5"

The materials are taking longer than expected to arrive, so the construction is quite delayed. However, the booth side is almost finished, and we only have to install the gypsum boards on the control room side.

I apologize for the messiness, but please bear with it. Well, since I'm doing the construction for my own studio, I don't really mind how dirty it gets. It's just dirt that can be wiped off, after all.

This photo was taken when the booth boards were still being installed, so the steel frames are exposed. But now they are all installed, and it's completely dark because the lights haven't been installed yet (I forgot to take photos).

By the way, these 21mm boards are heavy. As I mentioned in previous posts, I attached lead sheets to these 21mm boards and then attached them to the steel frames, so they are really heavy.

It's inevitable, but once the boards are installed, the room feels smaller. I thought, "It was supposed to be a bit larger," but it's too late to think about that now (laughs). The main focus of this studio is the control room, so as long as that area is spacious, it's fine.

The booth is almost finished, and I've also installed the door. Of course, I added a doorknob as well. It's one of those commonly seen in rehearsal studios, called a Gremon handle. It was a bit troublesome to install, but it's much easier than a regular doorknob.

Isn't the door stylish? I quite like it.

The control room side has also made significant progress, and it looks like this now.

Can you believe that this is how it used to look?

We've come a long way, haven't we? It looks like the walls will be finished by the end of this month, and then we just have the flooring left to do. Finally, the end is in sight. Thinking about the interior design makes me want to cry, so for now, I'll close my eyes to it. Once the walls are finished and we've cleaned up, I'll update the blog again.
